The kidnapping of the heirs to the throne of Cheliax ushered in an extended period of violence in the innersea region. When the children vanished during the unholiest night of the Cheliaxian infernal religion, the nation of Andoran was quickly blamed for the kidnapping. Within the month, Chelaxian troops besieged the western Andoran city of Augustana; a siege which continues 4 years later.
