The Defeat of Grog
In the bustling city of Sigil, known as the City of Doors, there lived an ogre mercenary named Grog. He was feared and respected for his brute strength and unrelenting combat skills. Grog had been hired by various factions throughout the planes of existence to carry out their dirty work, and he was always successful.

But one day, Grog met his match. A small band of adventurers had been hired for a job that conflicted with Grog’s mission. The fight was short and brutal and in the end, Grog was struck down.
As he lay there, wounded and defeated, Grog had an epiphany. He realized that his life of violence and bloodshed had no meaning or purpose. He longed for something more fulfilling, something that would bring joy to others. And that’s when he decided to become a baker.
Grog had always loved cooking and baking, but he had never pursued it seriously. Now, with a new sense of purpose, he began to experiment with recipes and ingredients. He spent all his time baking cakes, pastries, and bread, and soon his small bakery became famous throughout Sigil.
People from all over the city came to taste his delicious treats and to hear his inspiring story. Grog had transformed from a fearsome mercenary to a kind-hearted baker, spreading happiness and joy wherever he went.

And so, Grog lived out the rest of his days in peace and contentment, knowing that he had found his true calling in life. He may have been defeated in battle, but he had won the war for his own soul.
