January 24, 2024
Today, big trouble in dark tunnel with huge Asmodean chain. Felt like falling, in Shadow Realm, where Maggie from. Got light to see hands, spooky place this. Space and minds all twisty here. Red glow up top, standing on ground, rough and tough.
Saw young but old-looking Maggie, she in her 50’s, looking at us. In big round tunnel, massive chain in middle, huge links, way above heads. Bad vibes here, despair things maybe like us for spark we got. This place called “Shadowfell”. Maggie points, tells we go through but not stay, to broken realm. Says stuff from everywhere ends up there, where we find our big thing, our divinity.
Had to go from ghosty stuff to real stuff. Maggie starts walking. Tried to peep at wall, but no luck, felt like bad idea. Osarn, poor guy, magic so strong here, got himself blinded. I take his hand, lead the way. Maggie shouts to hurry, thinks we touch chain or what.
She warns about her sister, sounds not friendly. Maggie ready, got loads of wands, tools, and magic stuff. Then, far in red light, bad smell, and shapes coming. Five of them, one big ugly hag, four emo things, all black and pointy.
Big fight starts. I get mad, charge one gothy thing, hit him good. Osarn still can’t see, tries hard, then casts bless. Spin tries trick on Maggie’s sister, she just laughs, hits him hard. I get hit too, ribs all funny now. Sean shoots one dead, Duckfoot fights, Drydus too. It’s chaos.
Maggie lets out her secret weapons from balls, Pip’s back, shooting at sister. I try hitting, miss. Bad luck. Osarn helps Spin, makes bless bigger. Sister gets meaner, pulls out a giant from a card. Duckfoot switches to melee, Sean hitting hard, Dridus helps Spin.
It’s wild. Maggie’s up the wall, casting stuff, I’m right behind her, give her a big hit. She’s mad now. Osarn tries a spell, gets scared. Sister panics, runs up wall, fires big fireball at us. Me and Spin, we get hit hard, Spin’s down again.
Duckfoot’s fighting the giant, then doesn’t believe in it, it can’t touch him. He shoots at sister, hits her. Drydus finishes her with a spear, right through her. We win, but Spin’s not good. Maggie’s down one sister.
We take Spin’s stuff, sad but gotta move. Follow Maggie to some evil wizard place, big table, imp called Skarg now Maggie’s. Big arch, pebbles floating, and one big door.
We’re somewhere else now, Maggie says.
